When I got into this huge legal battle with my dad, I really felt like the nice guy and had a real case to win here. Boy was I wrong. And I wasted two and half years of my life to figure that out.
Lessons I learned today:
- Being the nice guy gets you no where in life.
- There is no justice in the court system.
- Lots of money really can buy you the best lawyer who will buy you a victory.
- Women are easily manipulated and intimidated by men.
I remember talking to my bro about seeing if he wanted to get involved in this legal battle as he is in a similar situation with my dad as I am. Yet he had enough clue to stay away from the train wreck. And he’s the “crazy” one in the family. Yet somehow I should have listened to him better. Major props to my bro for avoiding the train wreck.
Now I have to figure out how to move the fuck on with my life and forget that this all happened.
