It’s been two months since my foot surgery. I wasn’t in nearly as much pain as my last foot surgery. I was glad for that. Got pretty bored on the couch for a month with my foot elevated for 15 hours a day. That sucked. Here are some pics:
In other news, I upgraded this wordpress blog to version 2.0. Lots of changes from 1.2 install that I had been running for a long time.
I am still working out bugs in this install, but so far I am liking it.
I moved my personal web server (deadzone.nailbat.com) to a new colocation center in town. Bandwidth and internet stability is much improved at the new location. This blog is hosted on my box. Pictures aren’t as I have them on a separate web host.
I purchased web hosting awhile back from DreamHost. I originally got 5 gigabytes of web page space, 120 gigabytes of bandwidth, unlimited mysql databases, unlimited domain hosting, and one free domain registration. All for $9.40 for the entire year! Pretty damn good deal. DreamHost just recently upgraded me to 20 gigabytes of disk space and 1 terabyte of transfer per month. Check them out! I moved fuckingright.com over to that web host, and setup an uploader for personal use. I am definately liking it.
Business has been slow. I had to take a month off of work while my foot healed. I am getting a few new customers, but not as many as I need to stay in the green. I did some advertisements in the EZ To Use Big Book. It is basically a YellowPages clone. I like their format: easy to read, large size fonts, narrow and thick book, and no surname headings. I am looking to do other advertising, but I need money to do it. Typical catch-22 situation. *sigh*
