Tomorrow morning I am having elective foot surgery on my left foot to correct a deformaty know as a bunion. This is what my feet currently look like:



I had my right foot operated on five years ago. There is still a slightly visible scar from the incision. I expect to be offline from the internet for a while as I recover. So anyone who wants to contact me, phone is the best way. Recovery is about four to six weeks time. Hopefully it goes well. Same surgeon/podiatrist is operating on my left foot as my right foot. Health insurance will cover the entire surgery since I have reached my insurance deductable and copayment for the year ($2000 + $1000). That is the best part. Essentially a free surgery. Otherwise it would cost close to $10,000 for the operation. Operation itself should take probably two hours. Day surgery/outpatient care. Go home a couple hours after surgery.

In other news, I went to see Mudvayne, Sevendust, 10 Years, and Bobaflex on Friday night. Decent concert. Sevendust is still pretty good, though not the best. Mudvayne was great, though I had a hard time figuring out which songs were being played. I knews about half of them.
