Actually, I bought three Canon Powershot S500 cameras. One for me, the other two for sale on genmay, hardforums, and anandtech. It is a sweet camera. Can’t wait to dig into it a bit more than the couple hours I’ve owned it so far.
Yesterday I had a cavity filled.
My first cavity I’ve ever had. I got the composite resin filling. Looks a bit better. I hope it lasts longer than the amalgam fillings. I didn’t enjoy the procedure at all. So damn nervous. I’m not a big fan of any medical procedures. But, what is done is done. $115 lesson learned: brush and floss teeth more regularly. I also need to go to the dentist more often. Probably would have caught the cavity earlier.
My business has been picking up lately. Sold some hardware and software to customers. I don’t mark it up much. Should I?
Lan party is 4 days away! Can’t wait. Now that I have a digital camera, pics will be coming.
Today, I received the 200gb Seagate sata hdd I ordered from newegg on tuesday. I installed it. Very slick setup with the cables. I like it. Right now I am copying over my data from from my old two 60gb maxtor ide hdds to the new 200gb. I had to do one minor registry hack to get Windows 2000 SP4 to see all 200gb of the seagate. The seagate is so quiet too. I can’t even hear it while it is copying data right now. I am probably going to install Windows XP on it tonight. I want to see if there will be a difference in game performance running Windows XP Pro vs. Windows 2000 Pro. I bet there will be. I think XP can be trusted to not shit the bed (aside from spyware and viruses, which I am not concerned with). I just love Windows 2000 Pro since it is so stable. I can go four weeks without having to reboot. We shall see.
Today I went down to SamsClub and got four new B.F. Goodrich All-terrain tires installed. Very nice tires. I can’t wait to see how they will perform in the winter with snow on the roads. My old Goodyears were getting very low on tread. A few of my friends have or have had these B.F.G. tires and they all like them. I found them to handle well in curves and reduce some of the bumps and vibrations in the road. However, I found them to be a bit loud. Hopefully that goes away after they get some wear on them. I had the techs put the whitewall in. They look so nice on my truck. If I remember, I’ll try to take some pics of it with my crappy digicam.
On Monday, I received the title to my truck (2001 Chevy Blazer) from my dad. I went down to the town office and registered the vehicle. $275 excise tax :( but what can you do. Then I had to drive down to Augusta to get the vanity plate I wanted. Guess what it will be? NAILBAT
three to five weeks and I’ll have the official plates. Right now I got the crappy cardboard temp plate. I plan on getting some magnetic signs made up with my company information on it. Free advertisement. Might as well.
