so i just got back from the a perfect circle concert in portland. i went with a friend and it was a good damn show. very laid back and cool. i got the bassist’s guitar pick. w00t. first item i’ve ever gotten at a show, and i’ve been to like 15-20 concerts so far. i forget the exact number. i’ll scan in my concert ticket stub soon if i remember. got a couple stickers, one of which is going on my truck tomorrow. anywayz i’m dead tired. lates.

so i got this timex internet messenging watch. it has a builtin motorola 900mhz pager. its sweet. $30 bux for the watch, and it comes with free 1yr paging service from skytel. service in my area is very poor, so i hope skytel does something about it, cuz that would really be cool. this is like the coolest gadget i’ve bought in awhile. im seriously impressed by it. page me here.
so the contractor my mom hired finished framing out the basement. so now i get to do electrical, computer networking, phoneline, and cable. once that is done, i can work on insulation. then the basement should be very nice. oh i cant wait. gunna have some mad lan parties down there.
so i walked through home depot today looking for shit like electrical, lighting, ceiling, insulation. gunna def. put in a drop ceiling. its the only way to go. if yah gotta work on pipes or whatever, so easy. and drop ceilings dont seem that expensive when compared to a drywall ceiling, despite what the contractor told us. i just gotta look around for deals.
maybe get a pool table or arcade machine. that’d be sweeeeeeeeeet.
i just cannot get any sleep. i feel tired all the time. like going to home depot was a struggle to stay awake. this fucking sucks ass. i gotta go see the doc about this.

been awhile since last update. taproot is helping me through this entry, taproot – welcome. good shit. so i’m looking into getting a printserver. i just checked out dlink, they got a nice one, here at buy.com. good price. newegg has it for the same price. i’ll prolly buy through newegg, and maybe get a free hat.
so my mom hired a contractor to frame/stud out the basement and enclose it. got 2 doors down there and 2.5 walls done. vapor barrier. it will be sweet. my mom and i will insulate it ourselves. save some money. i’ll do the electrical and the networking. make a nice room for lan parties. can’t wait for it to be done.
so i spent my last paycheck (most of it) on getting my cat her surgery to remove an oil-filled cyst on her head. $178 bux. for fucken elective surgery. crazy shit man. she looks much better now, so guess it was worth it.
been working on a library’s network more. thought the hdd in the clarkconnect router had died, but it was ok when i tested it. i just need to ghost one of the computers i upgraded using the gates foundation upgrade dvd-roms, and clone the other systems the same. should be nice when that is done. i volunteer my time, since i rather enjoy doing it.
i loaded fedora core 1 on my laptop. works well. both usb mouse and trackpoint work properly and at the same time when plugged in. so that is sweet.
