So I had adelphia tech come out to my house. Lately I have been getting a lot of packetloss. So the tech came out. Basically bsed me. Said all the signals are fine. So I insisted that the cm be replaced and I am hoping that this was the problem. I got a new Terayon TJ715 cable modem. It has a diagnostics web page I can visit. So I can check up on my SNRs and event log. Better than nothing.
Let’s hope this fixes the problem.

So I just signed up for Anonymizer’s Private Surfing service. It’s pretty kool. For $29.95 for an entire year, I can surf web sites anonymously. It uses proxy servers on their end. It also encrypts all of my traffic to and from my computer. This will come in handy whilst I’m on the go. *wink* *wink*
Now to download trillian and test out its features.
